Happy August Fool's Day! 
Work was alright. Better than expected. I did end up spilling my Diet Coke all over myself and my desk, though. It dried, but I still felt like an ass. My headache persisted throughout the day, and as soon as I got into my car to leave, it subsided. Go figure.
I honestly think the retardedness of the weather has a lot to do with it.
The office is hosting a networking event on Thursday. A bunch of realtors getting blitzed on free wine sounds like my idea of a party. I can't wait.
I think I'm still going to hold out for that account exec job that I mentioned a few journals ago. I'm optimistic, even though the recruiter didn't call me today. I'll drop him a line tomorrow morning to see what's up.
Rumor has it that tomorrow night I'll be having burritos with my dear friend Watson. This is very exciting, though I'm not sure what I'm more excited about- hanging out with him or having burritos. Either way, we haven't really had a lot of time to spend together in the past five years, so it cna't be that bad. 
The rest of the week is nuts as well...kickball on Wednesday, that damn work event on Thursday as well as CinderOla and Laerkai's housewarming on Friday! Wow...talk about keeping busy!
