Today is 'Baking with Libra Day'
Why, you ask?
The baking bug bit me sometime yesterday. Seeing as I was already in the middle of making dinner, I couldn't really act on it. Now I've got the whole day!
Here's what I'm making:
Hazelnut-Cinnamon Cookies
Chocolate Sugar Cookies
Scotch Shortbread
[maybe] Toasted Sesame & Orange Bars
**Edit: I made homemade brownies instead of the sesame orange whatevers. Whether they actually make it into the package is another story.
* Most of this will be shipped off to ZPO, seeing as he didn't have a prayer of even sampling the last batch of cookies I made him.
[Long story, and I kinda read him the riot act for it. Rest assured, I was well within my rights. 
] I hope he's hungry.
* All this baking will probably make me feel unbearably bloated and fat. Ugh. So I'll have to make it to the gym today in order to combat feeling more gross than usual.
* My best friend is coming in from Sacramento on her way to France for the day on Saturday. *squeals* I haven't seen her in a year! [Some of you met her last year at Three of Cups/Raven Bar, etc.] I can't wait!! *squeals again*
* As an aside, the ignore feature makes some of my groups [and the site as a whole] a much nicer place to be.
***I know it's way far advance notice...but...on Saturday, August 20th...The Watchdogs are at it again! Keep your eyes here for more details.***
*Unfortunately, this means any hope of heading to NC for SouthernBelle's burfday is oot of the question. Grrrrrrrrr. I guess I just have to send her a really nice gift.

Peanut Butter Cookies are good too..
