So I slur you and beat you down
paint my body with mentral blood
Anything, anyway to get inside you
get to know you
and try to understand why I treat you
the way that I do

I slough you off and flush you down
and convince myself that I hate you
try as you might to understand
I try to push you away
but ever so dependant on this
sickening cycle of abuse

The periodicity of this fire and flood
has become intoxicating
I am now addicted to
destroying ourselves
I get such strength from
forcing you away
but must take comfort in the fact
that you will return to me

I hate you, I need you
if you leave I will love you
but if you stay, I will destroy you.
