so it finally happened....
the old man worked himself into the hospital again, only this time hes only got a 40% chance....made only worse by his attitude. for those that dont know, my bio-father died about 5 years ago, but this man....well, he taught me the difference between a father and a dad, and thats something i'll carry with me forever. any idiot can make a baby, he is more than that to me.so its off work and off to minneapolis to be by his side. just like he always has been for me. the worst part, my baby brother,his junior, will have his 13th b-day on the day of dads bypass.everyones pretty scared but we knew it was coming....two packs a day and 3 liters of rum a week finally got him. so if you happen to be going past the v.a. hospital, and you see a guy outside on the bench thinking of better times, bring my ass a cup of coffee, put your hand on the back of my neck and kiss my forehead. whisper kind words in my ear and leave me with some faith....
