I'm home!!!! Back from the Gathering.
A big thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday!!! I was having so much fun I almost forgot about it.
So I was a bit surprised to see all the comments. That really made my day! Again, thanks guys and gals. You rock.
So... yeah, I had a hell of a time. I should be sooo tired right now but I still somehow am going strong. I don't know where all this endurance came from! I didnt' even get sunburned really.
4 straight days of walking, running, jumping, dancing, swimming, eating, and shouting. Plus an 8 hour drive there, and an 8 hour drive back. I barely slept... due to staying in a tent on a bumpy slanted piece of ground. Also due to not wanting to sleep!
There was so much to do and I really feel that I made the most of it. I went cliff diving, checked out some incredible concerts, hung out with my homies and people from all over the country and some people from as far as scotland, canadia and australia. (yes, I call it canadia)
I threw my mack down a few times too... didn't close the deal but definitely had some good old fashioned dirty fun with a couple of girls I met. I hope they remember that in a good way, cuz I sure do.
Every night after the daily concerts, me and a few other people went adventuring. We walked around the campsites, deep in the woods and just met random people. We brought a cooler full of rum and Faygo(soda) and gave shots on tap to anyone who wanted them. That was so much fun... just randomly running into people and chilling out.
The only stale part was losing my cell phone. I found the back plate of it on a dirt path, apparently it had been run over by a golf cart. So we started calling the # from another phone, and someone was answering it but wouldn't tell us where they were. It figures, with all the awesome people there I had to meet the only douchebags that couldn't just take what was left of it to the lost and found stand. I had to call and have it shut off.
SO I lost all my phone #s. So everyone who I talked to before, or wants to in the future, just email me with your # and I'll get in touch when I get my new phone in the mail!
There was so much other awesome stuff that happened too... but I'll save most of that for when I get my pics developed. Every one of them will be worth more than 1000 words.
