the concert last night was great. the weather was perfect. i played very well. and the violin soloist nearly brought a tear to me eye during schindler's list.
you shoulda been there!
now i have 3 days of rest, relaxation, and focus time on my resume and the search for better employment.
i cut the grass this morning but saved the weedeating til tomorrow or monday. still have to add fuel and a new string to it, and it's too fucking hot to be out this time o' day.still have to lay mulch, move some bushes, and clean some sort of weird green stuff off my siding. work.work.work.
making a spreadsheet in the hopes that i'll finish projects and such in a timely manner. organization definitely makes thing easier, but invariably adds itself to the list of things to do.
found out my friend's mom has cancer again. it was in remission all last year. now it is in her lungs. her surgery went well friday, but the same thing happened to my grandmother, so i'm sure it's only a matter of time. my went through losing her mom to cancer, and i'm hoping she'll be able to help my friend get through this. your prayers (to whatever gods you believe in) are appreciated.
on a happy note. saw several old friends at the concert last night. lots o' smiles and hugs. it felt good to see the direction everyone has taken, the successes in their lives. it felt good to be closer to the path i need to walk.
only one thing would've made last night better...
