Movie Reviews:
The Village: Very cool movie and I kind of expected the twist, but the less I say about this movie the better. I have to say I envy the people of the village where all that matters is love and the welfare of the village. No politics, no big business, no capitialism, no war, no starvation, etc. I have considered similiar, but the government would put me in jail for something like that, what a fuckin crock!!
****
Bourne Supremacy: Better then "Bourne Identity" by like 1000%. Best action movie in like 5 yrs or more.
****3/4
Ringu: This is the original japanese movie that the movie "The Ring" was based on. The Japanese are the masters of horror and it shows in this movie. The story is almost the same (little more story in this one). I liked the Ring but the Japanese movie is 3 or 4 times better.
****
The Center of the World: A .com millionaire meets a stripper and invites her to go to Vegas for three days. For $10,000 she agrees but only under a few rules:
1) No Penetration.
2) No Kissing on the mouth.
3) No feelings.
Passion and emotion run wild, as rules get broken and emotion takes control in the most classicly erotic Amercian movie I have seen since "Showgirls".
***1/4
Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl: This movie on the reviews was compared to "Natural Born Killers". So I figured it would be good since the Japanese are noted for extreme ultra-violence in such movies. But the violence wasn't graphic and it made the movie drag on. Their are some really funny moments in the movie and one really cool gun battle, but other then that it isn't worth watching.
**1/2
Hidalgo: The movie was overly hiped. Story of the first white guy on a horse to win some esteemed race across 3000 miles of Arab desert. The movie is worth a watch once, but isn't worth buying. I wish they had given more background on the guy and his native american roots, but whatever then the movie might have been 3 hrs long and drag along for the first 30 mintues or so.
***
The Reckoning: This is one of the best movies I have seen in the past couple years. The story is shakespearean with an american touch. I would go into the story, but that would take too long. So check out the trailer (you need Quicktime to view).

belllla:
I've been wanting to see Ringu for quite some time now, but . . . I don't know if I can handle it. Creapy little girls who crawl are just something I've lost the ability to handle. When did that become such a staple of FREAKING THE SHIT OUT OF ME????!?!?!?
