Movie Reviews:
Against the Ropes: Movie staring Meg Ryan and Omar Epps. The movie was okay, it is the first boxing movie which I have seen that actually scripted boxing matches that looked like boxing matches. Unlike movies like Rocky where nobody ever blocked a punch. The ending is way to cheesy, but thats hollywood for you.

Never Die Alone: I was surprised by the nature of this movie. With a unpredictable story and dark look inot the world of drugs and organized crime. The movie kept me entertained and was in my opinion too short. I would have liked to see more story into Michael Ealy and DMX's characters. But regardless it was an interesting ride.

Boondock Saints: This movie fucking rocked. Seeing people comparing it to the Reservoir Dogs, I wasn't sure I would like it because I found Reservoir Dogs extremely stupid and boring. I loved this movie and how couldn't I; senseless violence by my fellow Irish and a fun exciting storyline, makes this movie great.
****
What have you done to Solange: Italian; This movie is likely where they got the idea for "I know what you did last Summer", except I liked this movie. A private girls club has a secret and members start die one after another for that secret. If you can find this movie it is worth the watch.

At least our government has made one good decision in the past 4 years. That being blocking the Constitution Amendment banning same sex marriage. Now we have to wait and see if the Supreme Court will find the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional. I believe they will, because it directly discriminates against same sex couples. And discrimination is something that the constitution is strongly against.
If their is any legislation passed for marriage it should be legislation that defines marriage as: Any legal union between two people. A union which can exist regardless of sex, race, or creed.
