I have decided where I am going to go for a doctorate if I decide to go the Physics route: NIU. Northern Illinios University is about and hour west of Chicago and it is about 30 minutes away from the largest particle accelerator currently in the world (although by the time I get to do research there, Cern Lab in Geneva will have the largest). Next to Cal State they perhaps the best Physics program in the US.
If I decide to go the math route I will likely just stay at APSU. No point going elsewhere if you can't get the best possible education right here.
Well this is what my schedule will likely look like for Spring:
Calculus II - sexy sexy Calculus!
American History II - I have only put this off because I hate research papers.
English 1020 - I am seriously dreading this class. I have an impossible time trying to analyze stories. I don't look quite that deeply into fiction. I took this class two semesters ago and dropped it because it was just such a huge hassle to right a 4 page paper on a story which is maybe 4 pages long. That just doesn't make a lot of since to me.
Intro to Programming 1010 - This is necessary for a physics degree so since I have almost no electives left I figured I would take it even if I don't decide on physics. I took this class at Draughons and passed it with a "B" so it shouldn't be a problem. I really wish APSU wasn't so damn picky about what transfers from other schools (only like 3 classes transfer from Draughons and I took none of them).
I think I need another class but I will decide that in the coming weeks. Looks like I will have to take Physics 2110 and 2120 this summer. There goes any summer break.
