Hey look, it's Nikoll flashing me in our living room:

Nikoll and I went to BC for a couple weeks. I got sick from our adventures in Tofino, thought Nanaimo was boring, found Victoria to be way too tourist-clogged to enjoy, and had a great time in Vancouver. Must move there immediately. Meeting Cherry and her dude was cool, they're good peoples. Nikoll & Cherry shot a really nice set while we were there, go check it out: Through The Viewfinder
I took some pictures while we were adventuring. Nikoll has her fancy film cameras, so I used a little pocket digital thing:

That last picture is at Radar Hill in the Pacific Rim National Park. Probably the most beautiful view I've ever seen in person.
Tofino/Vancouver Island was really beautiful, I wish nature hadn't kicked my ass so hard though so I could've enjoyed it more/been there longer.
In vinyl news, I got the new Torche record 'Songs For Singles'. It's really really good, but the packaging is a joke. Had to get a knife out and cut it open, plus it's thin paper for the envelope, so that'll end up ripping at some point guaranteed. Nothing special going on inside either, kind of feel like I got ripped off. $30 to get this EP and have it shipped to me, and they didn't even include a digital download code. Shitty label, Hydra Head. Torche should be on Relapse or Warner.
Ah well, I do love the album a lot though.

The video for 'UFO' is silly and fun:

One day we will go back & have a nice warm hotel room to sit in & cuddle while we watch the rain outside.
Also, thanks for the lovely comment on my set! Keepin my fingers cross on this one...
