I have to admit there's not a real lot that makes me feel old.
Career-wise, I'm more towards the beginning of my chosen profession (granted, I've had a career change). When it comes to music and pop culture, I try and embrace the trends that are popular (within reason), and don't necessarily wear nostalgia goggles. I also don't think *insert the latest generation* is the worst generation of young people that have ever existed. Generally, I do my best not to fall into those curmudgeon traps a lot of people my age tend to fall for.
The thing that tends to make me feel old is a part of myself. It's my hairline.
Don't get me wrong; I've embraced baldness, and I think I can pull it off. That said, baldness isn't exactly a young person's hairstyle.
It's not a bad way to feel old. I mean, I'd rather feel old due to a physical characteristic - that doesn't affect my health - than due to my mentality.
It's ultimately not a big deal, but I needed at least one answer for this week's blog homework!
