Now the the site seems have calmed down a bit after the upgrade, it seems I can finally update this here blog o' mine.


(long pause)

Sadly, upon further reflection, it seems my life is the most boring it's been all year. No shows. No money (thanks, Uncle Sam), and no projects at my day job. My 9 to 5 hours have been spent sitting in a chair for 8 hours, looking at websites that hold my attention less then SG would, were I in any way allowed to access pornography (or erotica, if you will) on my work computer.

Instead, you get random tidbits:

1. I've come to realize that anything worth saying is probably going to piss someone off.

2. Peanut butter is the greatest of man's inventions. I plan to have a clause in my will that I am to be buried with a jar of Jif.

3. I've been playing way too many video games the past couple of weeks. Idle hands. I seriously need to some some art to make.

4. I need new clothes. On Friday, I'm going suit shopping, in preparation for the big DC regional theater awards ceremony on Monday. Before you ask, no, I'm not nominated. I'm going simply to schmooze and see and be seen and look hot in a vintage (that sounds much cooler than "second hand") suit.

5. The Onion is now being printed in DC! Complete with it's own version of the AV club with local reviews. This excites me.

6. I really need to paint my apartment. Badly.

7. There are new Nine Inch Nails and White Stripes albums coming out. Awesome.
