"I think it's important to bring somebody from outside the system, the judicial system, somebody that hasn't been on the bench and, therefore, there's not a lot of opinions for people to look at." On the nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court, Washington, D.C., October 4, 2005

I had the pleasure of seeing Henry Rollin's spoken word act at The Black Cat last night. Quite an experience. He walks a strange line between stand-up comedy and punditry. As a theatre piece (which it really is, in my opinon) it was as didactic as they come. While the performance was impressive, I didn't feel like he really engaged with the audience, or really had any intention to at all. He talks AT an audience, with little to no reponse to audience cues.
Anyway, the job hunt continues, and to it I now return...
Peace.
