The holiday vacation is over and I have to admit I am not looking forward to returning to work -- mainly because I got tasked with a couple of assignments whilst I was out. And they are due Tuesday. Tomorrow is going to be one long day!

Another month slips past. Time seems to be accelerating as I get older. At least I get the next two weeks off for the holidays.

Where has the year gone? It's been over two weeks and I don't know where time has flown...

I kinda wish things would slow down. I'm taking most of Thanksgiving week off and a healthy two weeks off between Christmas and New Years. Maybe that'll give me the sense of things winding down into winter.

I know I could use the recharge...

All-in-all, it's been a pretty good month. Personal-life-wise, I had a nice little micro-vacation to celebrate my anniversary. Got to see Wicked -- which is a damn fun musical. Work-life-wise, things seems to almost be getting back to normal. I have a few too many irons in the fire, and manage to miss something minor every now and again, but that's routine work, no?

With the passing of the fiscal quarter so passes the intense workload... Now I have a few weeks of travel ahead, to places near and far, some of them even fun. A nice trip to LA is planned for the end of the month!

How ironic. The long, dark tunnel has come to an end, yet, the light outside is gloomy and gray. More intense work ahead. I'm not entirely sure this is what I signed up for. But it pays the bills, so I still do it.

But what is that I see? A light, a tiny, distant light, at the end of this long dark tunnel of intense work? Why, it just might be that an end is in sight...

Sigh...
