So... Work starts in earnest tomorrow. The first full week back from holiday. Honestly, I would love to be independently wealthy so I could just spend all my time at home enjoying my family, reading books (just started The Amber Room by Steve Berry), and playing games. But I gotta eat, so I gotta work.
Work this week will involve wrapping up some final reporting templates for our team. We are changing how we're reporting our monthly scorecard -- hopefully for the better -- and I am in charge of creating the reporting templates. Sounds boring, doesn't it? Fortunately that's only part of my tasks this week... The other task is to build an agenda for a team-wide meeting we're having in Las Vegas in a couple of months. That should be fun, if annoying (planning team activities = fun, calling hotels to arrange everything = not fun).
Anyone know anything about Vegas? Any good tips for cool things to do as a group (beyond gambling)? How about suggestions for cool places to eat as a group (there could be 50 or more of us)?

PS -- Just yesterday wrapped up the Max Level Achievement in Mass Effect for hitting Level 60. I had to catch up on bills today, so I didn't get to play as the Engineer to wrap up the tech achievements. I'm enjoying the hell outta this game, but honestly I'm really jazzed to try COD4.
