What a sucky week... A family member had to go to the emergency room for their heart. Everything is fine now, but damn, it was scary. Puts things into perspective.

I finally got to play some Xbox Live. I've been traveling so much this year I haven't really had much of a chance to play games online. When I play online I like to really get into it for several hours, so Halo 3 and me snuggled up for about 6 hours of play. I just signed off.

That's not to say I've not been...

So last week's Vegas trip wasn't too bad. I got to see some old friends. I ate some surprisingly good food. I got to take in a show. All-in-all you can't really call it a bad trip. In the Dept. of Wacky Department, I head back to Vegas tomorrow for another trip. I really need to get a break from all this travel. Unfortunately no...

Heading to Vegas tomorrow... which would be fun if it weren't for work. Oh, well, it's my own fault. I picked Vegas as the spot for our meeting, so I shouldn't be too irritated. I'd only be getting irritated at myself, and that smacks of schizophrenic. And that couldn't be good.

Before I leave, a quick note on a Hopeful I just stumbled across, Ireland_...

Damn, it's been a while. But I have an excuse. You guessed it -- more travel. I was gone Friday-to-Friday to Seattle. And I have two or three more cross-country Seattle trips to go before the end of Spring. Plust a couple of trips to Vegas. It's all getting to be a bit much. I usually only travel around my little neck of the woods....

I like to travel too -- I'm going to Prague and Krakow in May -- but traveling for business every week since January 1 is beginning to wear a bit. smile

The San Fran trip was fun, but tiring. Fortunately I caught an earlier flight home and made it back by 7pm instead of 11pm. Much nice!

It was a relaxing weekend. I watched my TiVo (love that thing) and played my Xbox. I got to play several different games, and COD4 is everything it's cracked up to be in online play. Quite intense. I also...

So I finally played the Call of Duty 4 single player game this weekend, and it is a really stunning game. The shocking and intense parts are pretty much the whole game. I tore through it and wrapped it up in one weekend, and managed to nab some nifty Achievements along the way.

The good news is I have a pretty good feel for the...

I have been sick... Since Sunday, I've felt aches and pains and tingling skin (not the good kind, either) all over my body. I went about my business on Monday, but that knocked me down. I ended up calling in sick yesterday and today. No fun.

Fortunately my doctor wrote a script for some anibiotics. They taste terrible, are as large as any drug I've...

I finally finished all the Mass Effect Achievements today. It took the better part of a fourth (yes, fourth) playthrough, so I decided to go ahead and finish it up a fourth time. What a fun game!

Now I am on to Call of Duty 4. I'm looking forward to this one. But first a business trip this entire week, so COD4 will have to...

Hump day... Today's interviews did not result in a hire, so the pressure continues to build. Our Vegas meeting planning, on the other hand, is shaping up nicely. We have a pretty solid agenda and most folks are buying in.

I still need ideas for "team building" and a dinner venue suggestion. Anyone?
