as siv mentioned in her journal, sheand i've decided to do a trial seperation to sort things out a bit. bittersweetness mixed with a bit of emotional relief for both parties really.
it's probably far from sunk in for both of us, so i expect it's just useful to say it out loud, to let it sink in and be able to react to it. after two and a half years of having ourselves be half in another person, it'll probably take a few before we can remember who we are without the other person there.
so for now there's just this.
at the very least, it's the most meaningful relationship i've had. i'd be shocked to find us not at least friends still 30 years from now.
