Well here goes for my first entry:
One of my 40"X50" prints got accepted to the student art competition here in UT so I'll be going tomorrow at 7 to see what it got. I would love to make some $$ off of it but we'll just have to see if they liked it that much. So I'm pretty psyched about that.
I'm doing a project on Tattoos and Piercings (I came to the right place!) for my photo class, and it's finally starting to take a direction. Well two directions really, one is along the lines of Diane Arbus's portraits where the tats and piercings are secondary or a Henry Callahan/Abe M-somethingorother style with the tats and piercings being the main focal point but in an abstract manner. (It would be about the coolest thing ever if I could get one of the suicide girls to pose for some shots for the class, but I doubt that's very likely)
In other news, I'm looking forward to the weather making up its mind. I'm getting tired of this hot & cold crap. And with that I'm off to bed! G'Night.
