Well I was told today that I have a week before I will be laid off from my job. And much like everywhere there are no jobs anywhere around here. So It looks like I am pretty screwed. I am a temp so I do not qualify for unemployment meaning no money for rent. My room mate is awesome and will give me some time to try and find something but I can't stay here to long without paying him rent so I am not real sure what to do now. My bike is in the shop and all the money I have will have to go to get it out. meaning I am probably going to have to sell the bike I JUST bought in order to pay rent. I can only hope that something will come along quickly.
Needless to say I am freaked out and fairly depressed over all of this. I have reached out for help from friends (not for money just for an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on) but they seem pretty uninterested in helping which is pretty much par for the course.

Who would have guessed 10 years ago that we would be in the state we are in now (as a country that is) I bet we would have all made different choices then..
