well, that last journal entry has been sitting there for ages, and i am not so bored any more.
still totally up for some touching tho.
most recently i attended my first SGUK meet. having been a member of the site for i think about two and a half years and a member of the UK group for a lot of that time, i figured it was about time i popped down and made nice with my peers.
it was fun.
i missed the booze tho.
for some reason, unbeknownst to me, i choose to take lent seriously. last year i gave up chocolate. the year before that i gave up masturbation. in case u r interested, after about five days, the pressure really doesn't go up anymore.
this year i gave up alcohol.
i figured i wasn't drinking much anyway, it would be a fairly easy one to do, but still make a difference.
i had no clue how many opportunities i get to drink. i had to keep turning down booze like every day. i thought i just went out maybe once a week, often less, and had a pint or two in the company of friends.
but there are after-work drinks, lunchtime drinks, before dinner drinks, after dinner drinks, chocolate licquers (sp?), during playing pool drinks, after playing pool drinks, too early for the cinema drinks, too late for the cinema drinks, sitting alone in my room wishing i could get to sleep drinks, and of course, the vodka drip beside my bed.
there is a possibility i might have a problem...
