I should probably post blogs on here more often shouldnt i? But anyways, its been an interesting weekend, kicked off with an irish themed birthday party on friday, shamrocks, green clothes adn guiness galore! That was pretty fun.
Saturday i was woke up at half past bloody one in the afternoon(im not always a lazy bitch i swear!) by my mum, reminding me it was my baby brothers birthday (EEEEKKKK how could i forget???) In all fairness, living so far away from home is bound to affect these things, and nobody thought to remind me did they? Still feel REALLY guilty though. So when i go home at the end of the month ill have to find a way of making it up to him i guess.
Sunday i went down to the seafront with my future housemates, made me realise how little exploring ive done of the area since ive been at uni. The weather was uncharacteristically gorgeous and we made the most of it by heading down to the pier, and eating chips on the beach- we watched the sunset, it was beautiful. Call me a sentimental fool but i love to be by the sea, i love to look out at it, i think its stunning. Maybe im drawn to water- but it would help if i could swim a bit better! Then we went to one of those archetypal student pubs and somehow killed 4 hours of time- the best bit?I had four pints and paid only for one?! Ive become somewhat of a cider guzzler lately never used to drink anything but vodka or whiskey but its now a regular occurance to see me with a pint of strongbow and blackcurrant in my hand!
Hope you all had a good weekend aswell-keep me posted
