So, I haven't smoked a cigarette in over a week due to this FUCKING COLD and I think maybe that's good. However, I can't say for sure as I keep coughing every second of every minute of every goddamn day.

In lighter news, I just got done playing another gig with my Afro-pop ensemble. I fucking love that band! We have so much fun and people just really get off on the really happy, groovy music. I have to say that my teacher Mohamed is one of the coolest guys at school. He's just so genuine and kind and such a great performer and he makes it so fun for everyone involved. I could play in this band forever. That said, after this week I really need to get my ass moving on getting out demos and booking solo gigs if I ever want play like the big kids. And I totally can. I just have to go after it. It wouldn't be so hard if I didn't hate every aspect of the music business except the music... but I do. So, it's hard. Oh well, get over it. Anyway, I'm feeling really good right now, so I suppose I should finish my homework and end the day on a high note. 'Night.
