So, to elbaorate on my last entry, I've had this apartment right behind Fenway Park for a year and a half, but our lease was up at the end of May. My roommate was graduating and moving back to Minneapolis and I had another friend who was moving from Maine to Boston at the same time that my old roomy was moving out, so we decided to have her move into the other room and sign a new lease for the two of us. I knew that she was having money trouble, but I didn't find out hat she wasn't going to be able to move in with me until a few days before the end of the month. This of course meant that I had to either find another roommate with a spare $1500 (first, last, 1/2 security) or pack my shit and get the hell out of there in a matter of a few days. Because I didn't have the money to cover the entire month's rent, I chose the latter and have moved into my friends' place in Everett for the next month while I save up some money and try to figure out what in the hell I'm doing next. I'm just bummed out because as small and kind of shitty as that place was, I had really become attached to it. I had made friends in the building and I loved sitting outside in the summer drinking beer and watching the Red Sox fans go to and from the ballpark and it was really close to a lot of things that I liked to go and do. Plus, I also don't like staying with people because I have nowhere else to go. However, I am exceeding grateful to my dear friends with whom I'm staying and I'm also happy to be able to see my beautiful little Goddaughter every day. So, life isn't all bad, just a little frustrating.
