alright...so i'm going to say it, and it's going to hurt, but i was wrong.
there i said it.
so i've been debating giving radiohead another shot for a while now, even though i pretty much would rather be dragged behind a hummer to my death than listen to them...but sunday while working with matt on the graphic novel we listened to 'hail the thief' and well they're better than i thought.
i actually quite enjoy them...so yea i'm eating my words. usually i have to listen to really insane noisy chaotic shit while i write, but it was enough to keep me working. not to mention that it might have been some of the better stuff that i've written lately.
which brings me to...
the second chapter, if you will, is completed. i'm in the process of trying to figure out the wording for the sectional headings, because it moves across time alot and i want to make sure there is something that lets the reader understand the time movement. once i get those down, i'll post the first and second chapters.
remember you're getting unedited, un-completed fragments of work. i'm doing this just to get a bit of feedback from people, and a response is a response, even if you hate it, at least i'm triggering some emotion within you.
but you don't have to send me things about run-on sentences, fragments, spelling errors, etc. these were written on wordpad not word, so there is no spellcheck and no grammar check...you're getting first editions of my mind at work...they may make sense, they may not, but it's how my brain processes things...
so here's to swallowing my words and loving this disc...
For those that pay attention...or care.
the first and second chapters of my in progress novel will be posted in the immediate future.
It will be a joint effort with an artist.
The method behind our madness is as such:
I write, and re-write, and change it completly. Then he takes the words and creates the images to accompany, illustrate or just do things influenced by the words. We hope to put them out DIY style on our own as we work on it...
check back soon...
