Just a some random facts:
I. I became a vegetarin almost ten years ago after hearing my grandfather tell stories about working in a meat plant. It was enough to make me sick, I haven't touched meat since that day.
II. I was married for about 2 1/2 years, technically we're still married, she was my best friend. Everything fell apart and we grew into totally different people. Somethings you can't change. We're just waiting for courts to finialize everything.
III. I became straight edge almost ten years ago. During a bout of stupidity and a bottle of top shelf gin I cheated on my girlfriend (in a weird twist, with the girl that would become my wife) It's the only time I've ever done it. That event lead to more drinking, that drinking lead to me kicking myself in the ass and deciding to get sober and stay that way.
IV. I spent a few years changing my major in college, wound up a political science major. I only need 6 classes to get a bachelors in Science and Arts...but I'm fucking lazy.
V. I was a vol. firefighter and EMT for 5 years. It was amazing, it was trying, it was the hardest thing to do, it was the most rewarding thing I've ever done.
VI. I once put on a benefit show with numerous bands that raised almost $3,000 for a rape crisis/intervention service.
VII. I have a serious problem when it comes to buying cds and movies. I need to stop.
VIII. While working for a record store I once owned over 4,000 cds.
IX. I have two straight edge tattoos. (Which means if I ever sell out I have to kick my own ass)
X. I work for a premium denim company, I sold my soul for the almighty dollar. They came to me and offered me a hell of a raise to come work for them...I took the offer. Now I'm selling women's denim to men on a daily basis.
XI. I love Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams III, Wayne Hancock, etc, etc... I don't know what happened but as I got older I learned to appreciate some traditional country music.
XII. I'm currently listening to Enemy.
XIII. My dog is probably the most important thing in my life...I wouldn't know what to do with out him. He's amazing.
XIV. I got Viva Hate tattoo'd across the base of my throat (right where a t-shirt would cover) My mom almost cried then shook her head and said 'just wait till your dad sees that' (note: he still hasn't)
Well that should work for now...maybe I'll get to more later.
