I had a corporate visit at work today, and to be honest I was totally dreading it, the last time this person was out was a suprise visit and it didn't go well at all. But this time was incredible, it was like she was a totally different person. She came in, loved the way the store looked, loved everyone working and didn't have enough good things to say.

Hopefully the Chicago store's visit went as well as mine did. I can't complain, now as long as I have a good inventory, I'm all clear.

So to celebrate I went to the evil Best Buy and bought a copy of Stubbs the Zombie, I'm normally not that big of a game player, but lately there have been a few that have struck my interest and playing as a zombie in the late 50's and basically taking over a town seemed like a good enough concept for me.


Yesterday I went out with some friends and wound up picking up cd by the Alter Boys, they're pretty bizarre, kinda like a Mr. Bungle/Faith No More thing.

I need to stop spending so much damn money. But when things are going your way you don't seem to pay attention to how much your spending.

I think Hooligan gets jealous of books, movies and video games...
but he's too cute to ignore.

On a more serious note, my friend had surgery to correct one of his eye problems today, we're hoping that when the bandages come off tomorrow he'll be able to see a bit better, but we won't really know for a few weeks, what a way to spend your 30th birthday, getting your eye cut into a lasered...and what do you someone for their birthday who can't really see...
