My opinion of the SGBoston dominated Gorgo Bordello show:
Reverend Glasseye - Meh. Cute trombone player, though.
Gorgo Bordello - Good, until the encore dragged on about thirty minutes longer than it should have. I guess gypsy punk doesn't do a lot for me, although I admit that they had me dancing a few times earlier in thier set. But, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to see them again.
Throw Rag - Fucking outstanding. I probably wouldn't have to think twice about seeing these guys again. The amount of dancing I did during their set almost made up for the amount I haven't done over the past two weeks, due to ManRay being closed.
And this guy:

made my night. As we were slowly trodding our way through the hallway to leave, Captain Sean and the rest of Throw Rag were out at the merch table, greeting folks. I went up to the Captain, told him how much I enjoyed thier performance, and extended my hand for a "thank you" handshake. Not only did he accept said handshake, but he also thanked me for dancing, as it "made him smile". Fucking awesome.

I went into work today expecting to find out that I was working Monday and Tuesday. I was surprised to find out I'm not expected back at work until September 2nd. Sure, it means that all of my paid vacation and floating holiday hours will be gone, but, it also means that I don't have to work for another twelve days, but still get paid.
-------------------------
I had dinner with gasmaskboy tonight at Tokyo City in Allston. There was sushi and plenty of conversation. All of it was good.
-------------------------
We're having a pre-Disney party-of-sorts later today. We only have about eighty more hours left until we will physically be in the park. I'm still not as enthused as everyone else seems to be, but I'm sure once we get there, I should be pretty psyched-up. I'm hoping to get pictures with all of the evil characters in the park.
And Stitch. That alien/koala bear is probably, hands down, my favorite Disney character.

Sounds like a great time, I`m jelous of you seeing Gorgo Bordello, I love some of those dance ones
And Stitch is cool
Throw Rag was perfect.
Glad to formally meet you as well. Now I don't feel so strange about drunkenly yelling "Don't move to North Andover!" in your general direction at Paul's party. But yea, don't move here, it sucks.
