Well, well, well!!!
A big thank you to everyone for wishing me a happy b-day! I was so surprised to see all of the comments generated from that litle pink balloon when I got on the site Thursday night! Thank you, thank you, thank you! It really means a lot to me!
Other than the previously mentioned stuff, my actual birthday really wasn't anything all that special. I slept until noon, did some housework, and went up to Peabody to get a Dane Cook CD for my brother, in hopes that I would get it signed for him tonight. But, after work Friday, my family (Dad, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins) came over, and we ate a feast of chinese take-out.
*Mmmm... There's still left-overs in my fridge. Fried rice doesn't go bad too quickly, does it?*
So, they came, we ate, talked, did the cake thing, and everyone gave me cards and money. Although I feel I've reached an age where a card or just a "Happy Birthday" is enough, free money is definitely a plus! It was great to see them all, and I had a great time.
And tonight, as my birthday present to myself, I got to see the man, Dane Cook! He was so damn funny! I nearly fell out of my seat laughing at and cheering for him. And, not only was the show great, but, after the show he had a free meet-and-greet, so I got CDs signed (In my "other stuff" folder) for my brother and I. I also was able to take a couple pictures of him with my phone camera (In my phone pics). After the line came to an end, I pulled out my wallet and asked him if he recognized my SG sticker. Surprisingly enough, he did and he told me that a few SuicideGirls are fans of his, and have e-mailed him about the site. So, my attempt to introduce him failed, but hey, at least I tried. Now, if only I had taken some of my SG stickers to give to him...
