So, I've been feeling pretty good for the past week. Not only am I not driving almost 90 miles (round-trip) every day, but I'm actually somewhere where I like working! I know, you're probably saying, "But how can you enjoy working? That's crazy talk!". Well, I shall explain...
The most important thing, is that my associates (underlings if you must) actually want to work, and so far, they appear to be decent folk as well. They ask me for jobs to do, and that in turn makes my job easier. It's good to be in a position of power and have people come to me for work instead of me having to ask them constantly. And, the fact that I can trust these people to complete thier assignments properly makes me a bit more at ease as well. My immediate boss is really cool as well, and since I woked with him for a few months back in Natick, he knows he can trust me.
Anways, enough with the work stuff. I bought a ticket to see Dane Cook at The Comedy Connection for Saturday, September 4th. I got tickets for the 8 PM show, since I will be riding the T into town.
Stupid T, why can't you run 24 hours, or maybe until 3?
I'd rather see the midnight show, because Dane has been known to hang out with his audience after his last show of the night, and it would kick so much ass if I could meet him. I'm still bringing my CD and one for my brother, in hopes that I might get a couple signatures, and maybe a few words with him. If you haven't heard him yet, go buy his CD/DVD "Harmful if Swallowed". For $16 it's pretty cheap considering the DVD included. Let me know what you think.

Okay, I'll rise to the bait (slightly...!) They're English & Scottish folk...residing in England. The Scottish connection to Ms. Manson is a long one. And that's all I'll say.

Congrats on the new job. I'm glad you're enjoying it. And yes, I too get angry at the fucking T for not running 24 hours or at least until 3 am! I guess that's too much to ask of them even as they continuously raise the prices of fares.
