Finally saw "Fahrenheit 9/11" today. I liked it. Most of it was stuff I already knew about or heard about from one source or another, but it was good to see a packed theatre of people gasping whenever something was revealed that they had no idea about. It's a good sign to see that a movie that's been out 2+ weeks can still sell out especially with the other choices people could have made ("Spider-man 2", or even the thought-provoking and sure to be Oscar-winning "White Girls"). All I have to say is that good old George W. must be shitting himself when he sees how much of an effect this movie is making or is going to make on his re-election campaign.
Anyway, I did nothing for the 4th. I worked, and went home. That's it. No parties, no drinking, no making out underneath the fireworks.
Feel sorry for me. I know you want to.
I'll hopefully make up for it at the SG Cabaret on Saturday. Not only do I get to see some wonderful women strut thier stuff, but I get to meet and hang out with some SG Boston members. It should be a damn good time. I asked for the next day off, so I hope there is an after-party somewhere.
