I've decided that my lack of finesse in the art of conversation is what may be my biggest hurdle when it comes to, well, just about everything.

I'm willing to bet even some of my good friends could attest to that. I'm sure there's countless times where I've been out with them, and they were left wishing I would just say something intelligent, something to provoke a debate or initiate a lengthy dialogue between us. And if I can't even do that with friends, then any chances of meeting one of them "women-folk" and charming her pants off (Take that figuratively or literally, it's a little of both) aren't too high. I honestly think it's just been luck that's provided me with the chances I've had so far. Or desperation on their part

Is the art of conversation a natural ability, or is it something that can be learned? Was moving to the Boston area a bad idea, as everyone out here seems to be more cultured, intelligent, and/or interesting than I am? Inquiring minds want to know...

Hey man. I was just reading the latest issue of Carbon 14, and read about this book and thought you'd be interested. It was reviewed in the Rev. Axl Future's column. He's the friend of a friend I mentioned to you previously. Unfortunately, he was out of town when I was in Chicago this past weekend so I didn't get to talk to him. Another of my friend's wrestling buddies mentioned a wrestling school in Reading, MA, that he's heard of. Do you know anything about it?
