While it might not mean much to many of you, save a few, this means a ton to me.
I still can't believe it...
R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero 1967 - 2005
The wrestling world has lost one of it's finest performers, and one of it's greatest individuals with Eddie's passing. While he was not one of my favorites, I respect him for all that he had accomplished. In fact, he was a major part in one of my favorite moments in wrestling history.
Sunday, March 14, 2004 - Wrestlemania XX - Madison Square Garden, New York, New York - Chris Benoit had just finished an amazing triple threat match in which he defeated both Triple H (defending champion) and Shawn Michaels to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. As he was celebrating, his longtime friend Eddie Guerrero made his way down the aisle, and met him in the middle of the ring. After a few moments of silent acknowlegment, Eddie began clapping, and in an image that will live with me forever, they met in a tearful embrace. These two men, who were told throughout thier respective careers that they were "too small" to make it to the top, had both made it. It gave me, and still gives me, hope.

He had just celebrated four years of sobriety, and he was, from what I've gathered, really happy with his personal life as of late. And that's the major kicker in this whole thing...
He is survived by his wife Vickie and daughters Shaul, 14, Sherilyn, 9, and Kaylie Marie, 3.
Keep them in your thoughts. I know I will.

I was able to get some pictures of my cousin and Eddie when he was doing a signing in Boston. My cousin also ended up doing a promo with him on UPN for Smackdown!. He was told earlier tonight about what happened, and he really doesn't know how to react. Eddie was his favorite.

I find that more people journals if there are pictures, and it was the only one I had.
It's sort of a "old and busted" and "new hottness" thing.
