I think it's official. Right after the upcoming and much awaited SGAU Masqued Ball, I'm going to be made the ringleader of my particular asylum. Can I possibly convey how much I don't want this?

Other news.

TFOG and I watched some David Attenborough on DVD the other night. TFOG makes it clear that David is a man she would leave me for if he were somehow to be on the market. (Or should that be on the 'market'? Anyway.) This one had meerkats (and we all know how I love them) and deep sea fish (The Fang!) and hippos and fighting kingfish.

And it had a lyrebird. Now, seriously, I had no fucking idea. The male lyrebird attracts mates by incredible vocal imitation. The one Attenborough filmed imitated a kookaburra, so well an actual kookaburra returned the call. Then it imitated several camera sounds. Then various sounds of people cutting down trees with chainsaws. Then a fucking car alarm.

In unrelated news, TFOG declared that if we had a child, she would name it Duck Fat. And if we adopted a Vietnamese kid we could still work with it. Welcome our new child, Duc Phat.
