Hey what's up with you people?
Well, I didn't get the tickets to Riotfest, so I wasn't able to get to any of the shows. However, I did hear from my friends that went to the Danzig show that it was pretty good. See, Danzig was doing this "Legacy" concert (leave it to Glenn to put "Legacy" in the fucking title). The show featured the cats from Samhaim and Doyle from The Misfits. Apparently, they played some Misfts songs, including "We Are 138".
But alas, I wasn't able to see it.
The rest of my time is spent working, reading, writing, and practicing. I managed to get in contact with someone from the AFL-CIO about getting an union organizing gig. It's not a guarantee, but she said she'll put on a list of recommendations that'll get to shipped around to unions. Hopefully, someone will contact me. *cross fingers*
So, yeah, nothing really exciting and shit. I've been meaning to be more active in SG land, leaving comments in groups and whatnot, but I've been more lurking than anything. That'll change once I get my shit together and stop being so goddam lethargic.
On the reading front, I've reading "Franny and Zooey" by JD Salinger. I just started reading it, and it's pretty good. I like the dialogue, as is Salinger's specialty.
I'm also reading, "No More Prisons" by William Upski Wimsatt, which I haven't read in like 10 years. I'm gonna get started on "The Community Activist Handbook" this weekend.
And because I don't want to leave this blog words and junk:
Anything that contains Rick Flair quotes is automatically awesome!
And finally...
GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY!!!!

And thanks man, I can't stop drawing right now. I'm just having so much fucking fun right now. It's sort of replaced my fire to find a job. Which is a bad thing
