I really got nothing new to add here.
I've been really tired, but in a good. I'm been busy, writing, playing out, working. Yeah, I'm tired but at least I'm somewhat heading towards fulfillment.
Oh and PLEASE--with sugar on top--check out this website. It's about punk in Africa. It doesn't come out til sometime in mid 2010.
Looking at the site reminded me of the South African National Anthem. I remember singing this with my class when I was in grammar school. And if I remember correctly, it was the time Mandela was released and Apartheid was lifted.
It's been over twenty years and I still remember the melody. fucking amazing.
EDIT: I was actually remembering the AFRICAN anthem. Its first stanza was put into the new South African Anthem to symbolize the new found solidarity between the races after Apartheid fell.

My mom lived in Sierra Leone for two years in the 70s. She has a hard time talking about it, since all the people she knew there have probably been killed or mutilated. Fucking genocide....
