I think I've recovered long enough to show my face to the world.
I've been going out regularly, just to blow off some steam. Visiting old friends, trying to make new ones--I'm shaking off my old, anti-social attitude--and trying to appreciate life more.
I just finished up another article for College News. It's not out yet cuz the office is closed on the weekends, but it should be up on Monday. I'll let ya know when it does.
I FINALLY got a response to my interview questions for Streetwise. Yay!! Now all I gotta do is write up 600 words(that's half a page) and I'm str8. Though I really wanted to write more than that, but we'll see.
Just finished up "The Terrible Threes" by Ishmael Reed. The story revolves around the character "Black Peter", who was St. Nicholas's aide(or slave), and his quest to clear up his name, since he was vilified in European countries and completely ignored in America. So he goes about and performing good deeds. As with any Reed books, there's a lot more stuff going on (ex. A plot to rid the US of all the "surplus" people; a model-turned president that wants to move the country away from a thelogical, conservative government, etc.) real good shit.
Now I'm reading this book on Hoodoo magic. Not sure if I'm gonna go out a practice some of this stuff, but at least it's interesting.
Anyway, that's my time. Later
