Ok, so I've been seeing a lot of butthurt Republicans whining about how Obama will be bad for America, that he's gonna convert the country into a socialist state(which, if you looked up his policies, he's clearly not. I used to be a Communist and I can vouch for that). Hell, I even saw the word "Anti-Christ" used. That one really boggles my mind. If they really read the Bible, they would know that in order for the Messiah to appear, the Anti-Christ has to be in power. So wouldn't it make sense to elect Obama, the so-called "Anti-Christ", so The Second Coming will happen? But that's another story.
But I want to address all you people who refer to yourselves as republicans.
1. You want to throw the word "socialist" around, but didn't McCain proposed buying up all the montages in the second debate? That's about as socialist as you can get.
2. You keep talking about Obama/Ayers, but didn't McCain attend a fundraiser with G. Gordon Liddy?
3. You wanna throw around Barack HUSSEIN Obama, but whatever about John SYNDNEY McCain? Hey, I don't want a dude in the white house with a girly-ass middle name
But this is where I just had to laugh.
You had a chance. A big chance. You had a chance to make some changes. You had the opportunity to steer this country into a direction she hasn't seen in years.
You guys had Ron Paul.
He wanted to abolish the IRS, so you don't have to worry about taxes.
He wanted to cut away wasteful government spending. Isn't that what you wanted? Small government. Isn't that what the Republican party is all about?
He wanted to make America into the Forefathers thought of when they wrote:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
Ron Paul is the only Republican, that I know at least, that had the support of men and women of all races, creeds, ethnicities, ages, tax brackets, you named it.
You had it. YOU. FUCKING. HAD IT! And what did you do? You piss it away, and voted for a man who voted for Bush 90% of the time. You didn't even bother to attract the youth vote, the minority vote, and instead relied the campaign on the "base". Who selected a VP candidate who, though I'm sure is smart as a whip, didn't know how to hold her own in the limelight.
In other words, it's not the Dems or Obama's fought that McCain lost. The blame is put squarely on YOU. By voting McCain for the presidential candidate, you've shown that you do not want change. You want more of the same. You want things to go just the way it is right now.
Can I tell you guys a secret? Pssshh, over here. Come closer.

PS Here's some words of wisdom from Dr. Paul:
"It would be a tough choice, because I see them as all about the same," he told CNN. "But I would think the one who would most likely keep us from expanding the war is probably Obama.
"But that doesn't mean that's an endorsement, because he would spend the money somewhere else, and his voting record isn't all that great. But you asked me the question and I would say he would be slightly better on foreign policy."
This is a conservative republican saying this.
