A few things I've neglected to mention:
I was at the Chicago Clit Fest, a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. Bands with female members, female-fronted bands and all female bands getting down for three days straight=awesomeness. Now that's some woman power right there, I tell you what.
Sadly, my friends of the band Condenada played their last show there. Their drummer is moving to San Fran. In fact, she should be there right now. Anyway, I wish her all the luck in the world.
Oh yeah, and at the festival, I saw the most ear-splitting, balls-to-the-fucking-wall Japanese band ever: Banjax. None of the members speak English and their the tiniest people I've seen in my life, but fucking ROCK IT!! I even bought their shirt. I was gonna buy their CD but they ran out
All in all, a good time.
OK, one thing I don't get:
1.)Dudes with nipple piercings. Seriously, wtf!?!?! I mean what are you showing off exactly? That your nips are soft and supple? Really, are there any ladies who find that sexy? Besides, the few dudes I know that got their pierced tend to be on the prevy/creepy side. Like be on "To Catch a Predator" creepy.
of course, ladies w/ nipple piercings are always teh sex.
Anyway, I might head over the African Arts Festival today. I said "might" because it's $15 to get in, but it'll have arts and crafts from the Motherland...AND Black Sheep are suppose to be playing. Remember them?
