Hey, kids! It's another update from Your Friendly Neighborhood Freak.
First of all, I want to thank everybody who left their condolences on my grandma's passing. It is much appreciated, and it's good to know that there are so many people here, many of whom I will probably never interact with beyond typed words on a computer screen, that took the time to leave kind words. You guys are awesome. 'Nuff said.
The wake was last night, and the funeral was this afternoon. I can't help but find it a little amusing that it takes a funeral for me to see family that I've not seen in months or years. But everything went smoothly, the service was well done (besides your Humble Narrator's atheist self stepping foot in a church, hymns and all that) and it was just nice to be able to spend time w/loved ones and talk about how much she meant to all of us. Good times.
The one thing that sucks is that my paycheck, due to the time I took off, is not going to be that well come next Thursday. Ah well. I find ways to get around it 9/10s of the time, I should be fine here as well.
Beyond that, I've just been hanging out, spending time here, also playing WoW and The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass (which I picked up first thing Tuesday), which I recommend to those of you who are Zelda fans and have a DS. It's well done.
But enough about me...I'd like to ask how you guys are doing? Been up to anything special? Anything fun happen as of late? This inquiring mind wants to know. Feel free to drop a line telling me what you've been up to in your own lives as of late.
