Hey, kids! It's another update from Your Friendly Neighborhood Freak.
How am I, you ask?
Well...
Work is work, school is going well (not much change there), and I'm getting bloody sick of the friggin' yo-yoing the New England weather is currently having. Pick a fuckin' season and stick w/it!
I'm now counting the days to my vaca next month, and Your Humble Narrator feels the need to get away. I'm still waiting on a few details (work schedule the wk before, for one), but I do believe I will be heading to good ole NYC. Good friend/Pen Pals sweetheart Sharonaaaaa has kindly offered the spare bedroom @her house to me, which keeps me from having to spend $$$ I don't have on an insanely-priced hotel room.
I've only been to NYC once, which was a day trip to Manhattan for a gaming tournament (NERD!) back about 7 yrs. ago. Being a slack-jawed yokel from the borderline boonies of Massachusetts...
...I was basically wide-eyed whilst walking around Times Square checking out all the sites, and told myself I would be back someday. Well, barring a stroke of bad luck, I shall be returning!
So, if any of you kids are from NY and feel the need to share a sight or two I should make a point to check out, lemme know. Who knows, maybe a member get-together could be planned! Because, well, how could you live your life w/o getting the chance to meet my awesome self in person?
