I have received many gifts, already, from students and their parents, and from my wonderful LittleFierceOne for our anniversary. I have new games (of the board, card, and video varieties) to keep me occupied for the rest of break. All of them can be played alone, too, which seems kind of lame, but I appreciate solitaire games when I don't have anyone else with which to play. (Although, LittleFierceOne regrets buying me a one-player game that has me hooked. He isn't much of a gamer, but I think he'd rather play than watch.)
We were going to visit my in-laws this weekend, but we decided that since we don't really like them, it's not worth the effort. Instead, we will spend this evening with our real family, Schiavona and K_Rex. I adore them, and you should, too.
Anyway, now that I have ripped myself away from the Wii, I should probably shower and get ready to leave. Enjoy whatever you celebrate - the Solstice, Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, or just being with loved ones! Smooches!
