Just wasted another day. That's okay, though, I'll just power though tonight.
Has anyone ever wondered why we all moved to square and rectangular housing? I mean... it used to be that houses were round. Why the switch? I want a round house.
LittleFierceOne has been studying a lot of architecture/anthropology/city planning lately... it's gotten me thinking about said topics. He asked me what my dream house would be like.
I listed things like lots of windows, fireplaces, at least one staircase, small and cozy, but spacious enough for pets and kids. I want a yard, and an attic and a basement. I want it to feel permanent and comfortable and I especially want it to be a place where people come over regularly, just to spend time with us... because, you know, I've only lived in one place where I could have friends over... and I was only there for 2 years.
What's your dream house look like?
Also: I'm seriously considering changing my last name (which, as several of you know, is Fox). I love my last name... my name is the shit. But, at the same time, I think I want to take LittleFierceOne's name when we get married. It's something I said I'd never do, but the fact that I'm considering it means it's time to rethink things.
I don't really want to hyphenate. I like his last name. I don't have the same opinion of my father. I know nothing of my German lineage.
And, you know, I'll still be a fox, even if my name is changed.
So, two things, then: what does your dream house look like, and what do you think about me changing my last name? (Duh, my SG name will stay the same...)
