I love it so much! There are more pictures of that here.
I also posted pictures over at my gallery, including the awesome new tattoos!!
The azalea tattoo:
And the molecular tattoo:
I am very happy with how both of them turned out - Nathan at Dogstar did a fantastic job, and I am really glad I went with him. They even took a picture of the azaleas for his portfolio!
I'll be sure to take better pictures when they've both healed - they're a bit shiny because of the ointment, plus swollen and such. Since my other two tattoos were both small and had little/no color, I really had no idea how much it would hurt to have the full color tattoo, but it wasn't as bad as I'd thought it would be. I am always fascinated by watching the little needles vibrate against my skin, pooling ink and blood all over the place. It always looks like it should hurt more, you know? Not that it doesn't, of course, but it feels like a tiny kitten claw jackhammer... more vibration than anything else. Though, the one on my back did hurt worse, because it's right over my spine - the pain radiated outward as he was working, and tingled a lot. Still bearable, even enjoyable, but definitely different. That one took all of five minutes to finish, though, while the azaleas took over an hour. Right now the azaleas feel like a sunburn, while the acetylcholine is barely noticeable at all.
I'm really glad I got them both done, before I leave. I have been itching to get a tattoo for quite some time, and I'm more than satisfied with the results. I can't wait for people to see them in person!
Okay, then - off to bed with me. It's been a long day, and I'm sleeeeeeepy. *kisses* Sweet dreams!
Oh my gosh, your tattoos look gorgeous!!!!
I miss you...I want to see you soon!!
