So, I think I've discovered something really important about myself. (Other than I need to be on medication to function.)
If I plan out my own schedule - not just due dates, but the dates I will work on things - I will actually get things done without feeling overwhelmed. I'm sure the meds are helping with this, but since I have scheduled out my assignments for the remainder of the semester, I have been productive and felt productive. I know what I'm doing every day, and I don't worry about all the other stuff, because I already have that planned out... I can see both the details and the big picture at the same time.
I wonder if this is how normal people's brains work all the time...
It took me 25 years to figure this out, I just hope I can keep up with it.
Regardless, I feel really good.

I need to make a schedule like that. My life is so chaotic, I wouldn't know where to start though.

I assure you that the vast majority of people are not nearly that organized. A great number of them either just muddle through or don't finish things or just keep themselves out of situations where they would have that much to do. You are now operating in an elite group--keep it up.
