Halloo!
I am craving a tuna sandwich. I am vegetarian (and fish are animals, last I checked). This is a conundrum. Tuna is one of my comfort foods... it's filling, yummy, and... just... reminds me of being little. I wasn't much of a PB&J girl, but I went to town on a tuna sammich.
And now they are no longer part of my food chain. Which is fine, really, I just get cravings every once in a while when I'm hungry and stressed and feel like being comforted by something healthyish and yummy. But, alas, no more.
I do have vegetarian comfort foods, but few of them are easy to make. They're things like creamy potato veggie soup or red beans and rice... things I have to plan ahead for.
What are your comfort foods and why?

Thank you for your advise. I really appreciate it. I feel bad for the boy since he has to listen to both sides of this mess, and I am sure is running out of advise himself.
I miss you both so much, we need to get together soon.
kisses

It's funny for me - I work at a Catholic Convent. And they don't serve meat on Fridays... But we get tuna, and other seafood. I'm not complaining about getting lunch - but it amuses me to have seafood on a 'no meat' day.
