I kinda like having three choices for user pics... and have added a couple I really like. Me, of course, in probably one of the best pictures of me, ever. #2 is probably the best picture of the night sky I've ever taken (fuzzy, but still) from a couple nights ago. #3 is the cutest stapler I've ever owned, and it's staple free! It punches a hole through the paper, then weaves it through a slot. It's awesome.
Anyway, school is coming. I'm anxious. I'm kinda ready.
Mostly, I'm tired... Monday is my last day at work, thank goodness. I want to hurt people there, sometimes.
Like the client, today, who brought in her "Labradoodle" - a dog she bought from a breeder for $800. I barely made that in a month when I was working full time. That's more than some people pay for actual pure bred dogs, and this is a MUTT. I think people that buy pets from breeders should have to personally euthanize the perfectly healthy shelter dogs and cats that can't find homes. I hate them.
I'm also encouraging my Sudoku habit. I hate that Americans are stupid enough to buy something American that's renamed and repackaged as something Japanese, but it is addictive. And it keeps me from killing aforementioned retards.
So, the job I am learning to hate is coming to a (temporary) close, and I will be back in the classroom, again. I've longed to be back in the classroom since I left it... I miss being a teacher. I have been at least volunteering in classrooms since my junior year of high school, and only stopped for more than a summer when I left UNC in 2004. Since then I have been in a classroom one time. Honestly, I think I started getting uncontrollably angry/bitter when I stopped teaching. I can't wait to get back, even if it means being there at 7:30am (
) twice a week.
There's more, I'm sure, but I've droned on long enough. I think I will listen to the pouring rain and do some Sudoku. (By the way, when did it become April? Did I hibernate through the rest of winter?)
