I'm still lusting for Miss Johansson, so much I'm kinda digging on her as Vermeer's domestic goddess with influential accessories
I have to get this off my chest. I former coworker at the hospital was a good sport and let me snap a pic of her from my iPhone (which I had her convinced could take your blood pressure; damn sweet girl but just a little too gullible). She always feared I'd put it up on some shady corner of the internet...
...and I would never want to disappoint.
And now for many other errant pictures of places...
Welcome to the Bat Cave, NC Post Office.
High up on Chimney Rock, NC
Rural Route 1-A (now Frogtown, NC), circa 1968. It usually doesn't snow.
The Amistad replica, Georgetown Harbor, Georgetown, SC, 2001
Georgetown, SC clock tower
Ceremony for the opening of Coastal Carolina University's Humanities building, Conway, SC, 2001
Japan, probably near Tokyo, 1946
Recently located an old friend of mine. She was an AM on-air personality with the radio station my aunt worked at. Studied theatre at Brandeis. Moved to New York to break onto Broadway. She apparently did well but never made it there. Now lives in Portland. If you've watched La Blue Girl, Triangle, Mystery of the Necronomicon, Demon Hunter Koji or Legend of the Overfiend then you've heard her voice-over work. She's quite talented.
Procrastination, it consumes me. I must try to get something accomplished.
If so, I better not grab the bottle of scotch sitting not far away. But, fuck, work has me working every other night so my days off I still have to stay up all night to maintain the schedule. But that changes tomorrow. Then I'll have to work the entire weekend. Which isn't bad in itself but I haven't gotten any rest so I feel like I've worked all week. So, again, Fuck.
Some random picture to end with instead of words.
