Why did I just have to re-log in to SG? I was logged in, my widget was working. Would it have anything to do with the fact that the site is slow again tonight?
Yeah, it's grown, but I'm of a mind that my service should be the same (at least) or better than when I joined in November of '03 (how long before you come old skool? Because you know that's the only reason I'm hanging around ). So much for bigger being better (I also didn't care much for the HQ move to LA. I've always wanted to visit Portland (and California, the state, can go fuck itself)
And since no one reads my ramblings here anyways, I'll go on record as saying I commend SG for displaying Nana's new set. It's good to see SG can remain controversial. Many of the recent sets have had the stagnation of "safe." I looked SG up on Wikipedia a while back and there was flak there about the things the site shied away from (like pregnant nudity, which it's not like any girl says, honey, or whatever, let me get knocked up so I can model nude... not really something you plan and the 1000 or so girls here could stay without child so as to not offer up the chance). But I think back to the sets that were taken down during the "War on Porn." There was Edea's Masked set (and possibly Pot Head) and Amina's Blood. Along with sets of excessive "all access" nudity, the site allowed the girls to do what they wanted in their sets. And then they became formulaic.
Yes, violence against anyone is bad. But this site is supposed to represent the alternative culture (and, really, it's cultures now, AND being global it represents different world cultures) and express women and their sexuality. My favorite complaint about the recent set is "I did not join to see that."
That's right. This site has to be pleasing to YOU all the time.
I'm sure Nana wouldn't have been please if her set was rejected.
And if you check my profile, where it asks my thoughts on SG: "I like it." No, I don't dig all about the site, the members, the staff or even all the sets. But I'm not going to condemn SG because it doesn't fit my personal list of commandments for the things I don't like; I celebrate it for the things I do, practice tolerance for what I don't. If you don't wish to share use of this site with other people's views and thoughts on expression then, by all means, choose not to be here anymore.
Do I dig the set? Hey, that's for me to deal with myself. I commend SG for giving the community the opportunity to decide.

dreamergirl:
Not so sure why, but I felt like my best pictures of me were when I was pregnant. I guess I felt beautiful and powerful with the monster milk boobs.

Old Skool is for members that were here before something wonky happened and they basically had to "reset" the site.
