What do you know people... still working only three days a week. Now, however, those days are 12.5 hours long and make me full time. Gotta check my first paycheck (next thursday, which is for one week EKG and one week in Telemetry) to see if I can afford my benefits. Medical benefits from a Medical institution should be worth it, right?
Been having classes. I hate one on one training. I'm being told I'm doing an excellent job yet it feels like she's patronizing me. Perhaps it's because while I'm learning lethal cardiac rhythms she's congratulating me while beeping her way through her brand new palm pilot. Then again, she later comes by the office and tells the monitor techs that I can successfully distinguish sinus rhythms and things like PACs, PVCs and PJCs and A. Flutter and Fibrillation. I am nowhere near confident enough to call such rhythms. Which is doubly bad since my test is tomorrow.
Guys just came a filled up my gas for the winter heat. Too bad a recent storm seemed to kill my furnace, which also powers the AC. Had to go buy a window unit to keep me cool. At least this is a second one so one is in my bedroom which means I'm no longer sleeping on a mattress in my office.
It was 65 this morning, still in the 70s right now. It hasn't reached above 85 in the past week... I think I may witness an actual Autmyn this year!! That makes me happy. I love the Fall. I wanna sit on my side porch this evening and bask in the pale glow of Luna but I have to work tomorrow so maybe tomorrow night. Moonlight and invisible Kool-Aid... sounding pretty nice.
Most important, looks like most online retailers have gotten my name straight on my book's page. Amazon hasn't updated yet and Book a Million shows two authors, but the rest seem to know that James M. Watson did not write Magica Residua. The official release is 9/11. Please pick up a copy.
Makes great birthday, Chanukkah, or Christmas gifts.
