I saw a comment on a blog that stuck with me. The blog asked whether the people who saw it would date a Suicide Girl. The comment that stuck with me was that all who commented yes, objectified the suicide girls and the hopefuls. I disagree for these reasons, first off SG's are not objectified. At least not by the lens because the models often choose to create sets that express their interests and their sexuality. Second, they have the option to blog and tell their followers about whatever they want. And honestly? I like that. I like getting to know the person whose body I just saw. It adds to my attraction. Does this mean I'll try and date them? No. I may not even become friends with them but I will see them as a human being and that is sexy to me. In addition that when I think of dating it means to me a long term connection between two or more people who may or may not have a sexual connection. I don't see how you be in a relationship with a person you treat as an object. Therefore I don't see how saying I would date some of the ladies on this site is objectification.
